Cell Cycle

Describe the different stages of the cell cycle and what is taking place in each of the different parts of the cycle during the division phase of the cycle.

  1. 1. is interphase. This is when they do there normal job, and start to get everything ready for the division.
    2. Prophase- this is were everything is strting to aline.
    3. meteaphase- Everything is connected and ready for division.
    4. Anaphase- starts to divide into two cells.
    5. Telophase- its still slpitting.
    6. Cytokinesis- they have divided into there seperate cells.
    7. Then they start over again!!

  2. The first stage of the cell cycle is interphase which is when they do their job and start to get ready for division.

    This is then the start of mitosis

    The second stage of cell division is prophase where they all start to aline.

    The third stage is metaphase where everything is alined and the spindle fibers are attached.

    The fourth stage is anaphase where the spindle fibers start pulling apart the cromozones.

    The fith cycle is telephase where it is almost completly seperated or divided.

    The sixth is cytokinesis where it makes two identicle daughter cells

    Then the cycle is restarted with interphase.

  3. -Interphase-Cell is all one and starting to get ready to divide.
    -Prophase-Cell starts to move around to allow the cell to grow.
    -Prometaphase-Chromosomes start to move and spindles form to the chromosomes.
    -Metaphase-Chromosomes connect the spindles to eachother to pull part of DNA to each side.
    -Anaphase-Chromosomes split into two equal parts and pull to each side of the cell.
    -Telophase-Cell grows and pulls apart.
    -Cytokinesis-Cell starts to form into two but still partly connected, each cell can live alone now.
    -Interphase-Now two cells each with same DNA start this process over again.

  4. The first stage is interphase where they go about their noraml lives while preparing for divison. Phophase is where everything begins to align. After that is metaphase where everything connects and prepares for the actual divison. Next is anaphase where fibers pull the chrosomes. They are almost divided in telephase. Cytokinesis the cell makes two daughter cells. And the last step is interphase where the cycle is started all over again.

  5. In g1 phase the cell increases in size and makes sure everything is ready for DNA synthesis.In the S phase is when DNA replication happens. In the g2 phase which is after synthesis and before mitosis the cell continues to grow and makes sure everything is ready for mitosis and division. In the M phase cell growth stops and the cell divides into two daughter cells.

  6. G1) Cells increase in size in gap 1, ensures everything is ready for DNA synthesis
    S) Replicates the DNA
    G2) between the gap the cell will continue to grow, ensures everything is ready to divide (M)
    M) Cell stops growing, all energy is used to divide cell.

  7. During interphase, the cell continues its normal functions, and prepares itself for birth. Next comes prophase, during which the cell grows in size and continues to prepare for birth. During prometaphase, the nucleus disappears, and the spindles form. Metaphase is next, during which the chromosomes are aligned along the metaphase plate. Then comes anaphase, during which the chromosomes move to opposite ends of the strands. Telophase is next, in which the chromosomes of the daughter cells begin to group into nuclei. During Cytokinesis, the cytoplasm of the cell splits in two. Finally, interphase happens again, where both daughter cells continue their normal functions.

  8. 1) Interphase: the cell increases in size, getting ready for division.
    2) Prophase: the chronosomes get smaller.
    3) Metaphase: the chronosomes line up in the middle
    4) Anaphase: the chronosomes seperate and each part goes to the end of the cell.
    5) Telaphase: it splits.
    6) Cytokinesis: thereis two parts now.
    7) Interphase: the cycle begins again.

  9. When the cell first starts out, it is in interphase. This is when the cell preforms the natural functions.
    The next stage is prophase. During this stage, the cell gets ready for cell division and copies all the DNA.
    Prometaphase is when the chromosome and spindals move and get ready for metaphase.
    During metaphase, the spindals connect to the chromosomes through the middle to get ready to split the cell into two equal parts.
    Anaphase is when the chromosomes and spindals divide into two equal halves.
    The two parts of the cell split and move apart from each other to get ready for the next step during telophase.
    Cytokinesis is the actuall division of the cells.
    Then the two different cells start all over again in interphase.

  10. The cell goes through Interphase, Prophase, Prometaphase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Celophase, Cytokinesis, and gopes back to Interphase. Interphase is the beginning of the process where the cell starts the split. Prophase is the part where cell is being split. Prometaphase is where the cell is being stretched more and more. Metaphase is where the DNA copies are getting ready to split. Anaphase is where the cell is going to become more split from its twin. Telophase is where the process is almost done. Cytokinesis is the further most part. And then we go back to interphase.

  11. Interphase is the first part in the process of Mitosis where the cell is ready to divide.

    The Second part Prophase is where the cell's cromosomes become visible.

    In the Prometaphase The cell grows bigger with the cromosomes attached to spindle fibers.

    In the Metaphase the cromosomes being to align.

    In the Anaphase the cromosomes are pulled to the sides of the cell and it is starting to divide.

    In the Telophase the cell divides into two cells

    In the Cytokinesis part of the cycle The cell completly divides and begins the cycle over again in the Interphase
